“On Wednesdays, we wear pink” unless you are prepared to go against the “popular” girls and blaze on your own path. Mean Girls Broadway is a reminder that doing just that is ok. Based on the book by Tina Fey, this Broadway performance will have you. laughing, and wishing you were this woke in high school.
The set opens with photo wall paper depicting images and phrases in the infamous “Burn Book” and takes you to a simpler life for Cady, played by Erika Henningsen, as she plans to leave her sheltered life in Africa. The once homeschooled teenager is now walking the halls of high school trying to find her place.
Cady's journey is not a new one. The spirited teenager goes from embracing being the smart girl to acting clueless for guy, to chasing popularity only to realize the importance of being yourself and true friendship. Something so simple but in high school often seems far fetched.
Mean Girls Cast
Grey Henson played Damian Hubbard, and was by far my favorite character. His vocals, dance and humor delivered just the right touch. This role was written for him but we can't neglect how his cast mates added to that flair. Olivia Kaufmann (Janis Sarkisian), Erika Henningsen (Cady Heron), Renee Rapp (Regina George), Krystina Alabado (Gretchen Wieners), Kate Rockwell (Karen Smith), and Cheech Manohar (Kevin Gnapoor) over delivered on their roles

Kate Rockwell, ditzy girl role and Krystina Alabama, helplessly insecure role was almost believable and you almost felt bad laughing at them. Cheech Manohar has been studying Kevin because it was almost as if he stepped out the movie.
Mean Girls Gives Back
