Not all super heroes can leap over tall buildings in a single bound
Not all super heroes run faster than a speeding bullet
Not all super heroes are bullet proof
Not all super heroes can fly or wear underwear over their pants….
But to me, a super hero is someone who unwaveringly leads, provides for and supports their family.
My superhero is my dad.
What other person would work all night, get up bright and early to take his kids and their friends to school?
What other man has been a tennis, basketball, track and coach of whatever sport you wanted to try?
What other man can love your mom without a doubt while teaching his kids how a man is supposed to treat a woman?
What other man seems to know all the answers to Jeopardy?
What other man lets you treat him like a horse even though he has back problems?
What other man loves you unconditionally?
My dad has been this to me and so much more. On this day and everyday, I want him to know that deep within my heart, he'll always have a place of honor. He has been my superhero right from the start.
