My greatest FEAR.

I read this quote today, and it revealed my greatest fear as a mother of two wonderful children. Dr. Marin Luther King Jr. stated “the greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could ultimately be.” WOW!

I realized that one of my greatest concerns is that my children are left behind. This is in no way related to the minimal mediocrity that the “no child left behind” indicates. I mean I want my children to truly have every option possible to achieve their ultimate potential.

But here's the thing I don't just want them to be successful. I want my children's great grandchildren to be successful. I know the power our my family's success relies within me. From the people that we would consider successful, it started with someone taking an interest in their success.

For my children that person will be me.
