I brought the WubbleX and Glow Wubble on our Thanksgiving trip so my extended family could also enjoy it. The squeals and screams were funny as the kids realized that they would be able to play with it. Apparently this is on several Christmas list and a few parents were apprehensive about it.
The WubbleX is a smaller version of the Wubble but is not lacking in play ideas. The kids took to this because it was smaller but they all seemed to want their own. You can either use helium (sold separately) to inflate or human air:) The helium helps it defy gravity and adds to a great science discussion while human air makes it easier for everyone to play. We have high ceilings so many of times an adult was forced to grab it. This definitely for indoor play but is fun nonetheless.
The Glo Wubble was really loved. It comes with everything needed for quick play except batteries. The kids were able to watch it inflate and the size made it easier for a larger group to play. We started with a simple game of catch and then the smaller kids wanted to bounce on it. I was able to allow it to charge in the light for a few minutes so we could attempt a game of dodge ball. Please note that it is important to make certain that there are no sharp objects around when playing both indoor and out. It held up to a 15 minute game and then the wind started blowing to hard.
Both products received the Seal of Approval.
