1. Stay hydrated all-day

It’s important to keep your body hydrated, especially during winter. In summer, people naturally get thirstier due to excessive sweating but during winter people often forget to keep hydrating. Without proper hydration, one might face muscle cramps. Prolonged dehydration can cause more serious problems like urinary tract infection, kidney stones, and maybe even kidney failure. Hydration is important for electrolytes such as sodium and potassium which helps in nervous functions. It affects people from all age groups and thus it is equally important to look after their health and drink enough water daily, around 3 liters a day, especially during winter

2. Use  kitchen hacks as natural remedies against cold

The winter is also the season of cough and cold. Every household has to make sure to look after their members and take care of them if they catch a cold. Homemade remedies and kitchen hacks come very handily during these times. It is not always possible to visit a doctor, especially during the covid period. You should fix your hours of sleep, try creating a peaceful environment, maybe even try white noise clips in the background or chamomile tea before sleep. Better sleep lets you start a day with more energy and helps you function better in your day to day jobs.

Family trips and holidays are important for everyone. However, we must keep in mind all the new regulations due to the covid situation as we approach the holiday season. Family trips help elders take a break from their busy work schedules and spend more time with their families. It is a great opportunity for families to bond and spend some quality time together. But one must be careful to not break any rules and regulations. Family holidays are important, but following tips to stay healthy must be our priority.

During these tough times, you must be responsible enough to keep yourself and your family fit. So spend this winter carefully and make sure your family is prepared for all possible scenarios.   1. Good tips. esially in regards to sleep and hydration. Since we lived a year in Slovakia we always make sure to have some garlic just in case we get the flu or a cold. Slovak Garlic Soup have been our solution at those times. 🙂
