There is so much happening in the world right now that we all need to find moments of calm wherever we can. The anxiety of back to school, covid-19 safety protocols, and just life itself has so many of us craving for a spiritual healing of the soul.
We spend so much time in our cars that the interior is just as important as the exterior. Imagine finding sanctuary in your car?
I felt like someone heard my cries when the 2020 Lincoln Corsair arrived in my driveway as part of the Girls Guide to Cars Fall Drive Conference. It’s more than luxury on wheels. Lincoln created this SUV with self-care in mind and I was ready to dive in.
What I loved about the Lincoln Corsair?
Honestly everything. But I narrowed it down to five things that you must experience for yourself
- Massaging Front Driver and Passenger Seats
- Ambient lighting to match your mood
- Surround Sound with Revel Speakers and three listening modes
- More tech than I realized I needed
- Panoramic Moonroof
Convenience and Comfort
This mid size SUV is perfect for the driver who wants convenience, comfort and luxury. As a busy sports mom, I loved that I could jump in between games and relax. I turned on the massaging seats, cranked up the music and enjoyed the breeze courtesy of the panoramic moonroof.
For the tech lover, the Lincoln Corsair provides an impressive array of features. Many of these features like blind spot detection and emergency breaking are the added safety that gives you peace of mind. My kids were impressed with the 360 degree view while I loved that the rear camera was self cleaning.
The Lincoln Way app gives you the option to operate the car with your mobile phone. You can unlock, start, drive and control the temperature all from your phone. This is a game changer as I seem to always know where my phone is but the keys are another thing. I also loved that I could sneak away without anyone knowing. This feature if often found on higher priced higher brands.
Revel speakers provide a surround experience with three listen modes. Music lovers will appreciate this option as it ensures that every sound detail reaches your ears at the same time and magnitude. Fourteen speakers create a sound like no other.
There is ample seating for five and we are a tall family so the sliding second row and 60/40 easy fold were great bonuses. The sliding row provides an additional six inches of space. The power thigh extenders provide individual leg comfort while the fronts allow for customizable comfort.
The power seat adjusting controls are placed on the door instead of the side of the seat, as with most other cars. This is a notable feature in premium cars and it makes adjusting the seats easier.
What’s it Cost?
Starting at $35, 945 the Lincoln Corsair base models offers a 2.0L engine and 250 horsepower. The Reserve model gets you more options at $42,630 like 19” wheels, Revel Sound system and all-wheel drive. Splurge on the added options it’s the money you will save on gas with 22 city and 29 highway MPG.
