Juicing Because I am…

I have been reading a lot about the benefits of juicing especially with weight loss and health.  All that sounds great to me but I thought further and realized it could be easier than trying to plan out meals. My family is pretty simple and would actually live on a cereal diet if I let them. Well maybe not my daughter as she likes a great home cooked meal.

I saw that several stores had juicers on sale. Juicing Because I am... 1 I bought the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer from Bed Bath and Beyond as I am familiar with his story. I also had a coupon and a gift card:)  The reviews are mixed but I think it should good for a first timer.

Are you a juicer? If so, what is your favorite recipe?

  1. My first juicer was a Power Juicer Pro. It doesn’t seem to get very good reviews but mine served me well. I eventually replaced it with an Omega VRT350 not because the Power Juice Pro broke but because I wanted a masticating juicer. The Power Juicer Pro is still working and I keep it in case my Omega breaks LOL! Anyway, there are so many good juice recipes that it’s hard to pick a favorite. I have “The Big Book of Juices” by Natalie Savona (great book). Try this recipe… 1 cucumber, 1 apple, 1 stick of celery, 1 lime!!!
