What a funny name to call someone but I got it from the fabulous Carla Hall. I had the privilege of spending a few hours with her during her book tour and she is exactly as she appears on the Chew. I love the flair that she adds to her recipes as it makes cooking look like fun. I unfortunately don't enjoy it but I am trying. Carla is taking her culinary specialties on the road and I am excited that one will be in the Philadelphia area.
Join me on Wednesday, November 5th outside the Drexel Athletic Center 5:30 PM for the public tasting of Carla Hall's Southern food truck. On the menu is collard greens, mac n cheese and hot chicken…. Carla will be there serving food.
