The Getaway at the Greenhouse brings a FREE, Summer-Inspired, Indoor Oasis to Fairmount Park, February 2- 9, 2019 at the Horticulture Center.
For the first time ever, Philadelphia Parks & Rec, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and Constellation Culinary Group have partnered to provide an indoor pop-up summer oasis. This oasis caters to families and adults by providing an awesome backdrop to escape the winter blues.
What's Inside
The Jungle: Traveling zoo (Philadelphia Zoo, Elmwood Zoo, Academy of Natural Sciences), Kids Rock DJ, live music, face painting, balloon artist and movie night
The Beach: Oversized Sandbox for an indoor beach escape
The Lawn: Green grass for lounging and lawn games
The Lounge: Moroccan- themed area with unique furniture courtesy of Maggpie Rentals
The Midway: Local food truck vendors and cash bar with craft beers, wine and handcrafted cocktails
Outside food and beverages are allowed during the daytime hours (excluding weekends) where you are encouraged to visit and explore the space. During the evening there will be a mixture of live music and movie screenings.
