If you have one of these in your house
then I am sure you probably have pizza on your meal plan at least twice a month. My family would eat it every day if I let them. They were screaming with joy, when I told them that we had been invited to sample Marcos Fresh Pizza. It was even funnier that the day before a circular had arrived announcing their pizza specials.
“Marco’s Pizza, the nation’s fastest growing pizza franchise, has found a new way to combine authentic Italian and Mediterranean flavors, reinvigorating traditional pizza for families craving new tastes! Starting March 24, Marco's Pizza will serve up its new Grilled Chicken Florentine Pizza! Imagine, tender grilled chicken, parmesan garlic sauce, four cheeses, fresh spinach and sliced tomatoes, with chopped red onions on dough made daily? Delicious! This new pizza will please any pizza lover’s appetite. And, just in time for National Spinach Day, Marco's Pizza is introducing fresh spinach to its pizza toppings! Add fresh spinach to Marco‘s Cheese Pizza, a three cheese blend of fresh never frozen cheese on fresh never-frozen dough made daily”
Mouth watering yet?, well mine was and I could not wait for family pizza night. I will admit that I was a little worried because of my picky eaters. My son especially hates veggies so I normally disguise and/or trick him into eating them. My daughter loves veggies but her preference is a plain cheese pizza. The promise of ice cream (which is a week day no-no) convinced them to at least try. Hearing the mouthfuls of “yummy and can I have another” was like music to my ears. I was able to squeeze in a piece of each and I had to agree their responses. The fresh spinach was a great addition to the pizza sauce which was spiced just right, not too sweet or salty. My daughter loved the Grilled Chicken Florentine as it tasted very similar to her favorite pasta dish. It was a truly a win-win!
Our pizza was made to perfection and the ingredients were definitely fresh. We could look over the counter and see each thing as it was added and the aroma of the store spoke to our hungry bellies. I felt great about my decision to have our family pizza night at Marco’s. It was as close to homemade as we could get. They are in no way your typical neighborhood pizza shop. The online ordering option will make our next visit even easier. The kids have already circled what else they want to try on the menu.
