Experience the World at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival.

I was invited to experience Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. All opinions are honest and belong to me.

Most people consider pumpkin spice lattes as the official start of fall but Disney lovers know that the Epcot International's Food and Wine festival is the true start. The festival runs August 29th – November 23rd which means you can also head to Magic Kingdom and enjoy “Not So Scary Mickey” or “Mickey's Very Christmas Party”.

How Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival Works?

Throughout World Showcase and Future World, food marketplaces are set up with various themes and represent a different region’s cuisine. The plates are small so that you can fully partake in each region. It's a casual experience that allows you to flow as you wish.

Purchasing a Disney Dining Plan prior to attending the festival is a great idea and perfect for your budget. You can redeem your snacks credits at the festival for food only. Grab a Festival Guide upon entering the parks, and check with each booth for Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit availability.

How are the crowds during Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival?

The festival last 87 days and is spread out to make the best use of space. There will be times where you have to wait longer than expected but it's worth the wait. It tends to be more crowded at night and on the weekends but the good thing is you can use the time to learn more about the culture of the booth that you are visiting.
