What was Missing
I really wanted to love this film. I have been a huge fan of the franchise since the beginning but I needed more. The narrative, albeit engaging, follows a somewhat predictable path that aligns closely with previous installments. We don't see much evolution in the character arcs of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, and the attempt to introduce new characters falls slightly flat, leaving them underdeveloped.
Despite these shortcomings, Bad Boys: Ride or Die will probably be a box-office hit. The loyal fanbase, combined with the magnetic appeal of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, is likely to draw in audiences in droves. The movie's blend of action, comedy, and nostalgia hits all the right notes for an entertaining summer blockbuster.
I attended a previous screening and the emotions were mixed. A few commented on how Will Smith seemed different and while they didn't love these “signs” from Martin Lawrence, we all agreed that he still has it. I remain #BadBoysForLife

I am excited to see this movie because I am a big Martin Lawrence and will smith fan. I’ve watched both of them since the 90’s. I’ve seen the previous 3 films and I am excited to see how they continue this franchise
This is my all time favorite action movie! I LOVEEEEEE the chemistry between Martin and Will; it’s great storylines, just pure entertainment. I am smiling as I write this!

The “buddy comedy” genre with two aligned but profoundly distinct protagonists always hits home, from “The Odd Couple” to “Leathal Weapon.” And in the tradition of “Leathal Weapon,” Smith and Lawrence expertly marry the buddy genre with a classic action film. I can think of nothing more satisfying than a feel good summer buddy action film.

I am so excited to experience Bad Boys 3 because I love the evolution of the story line from the first installment. I enjoy experiencing Martin and Will as young cops to now seasoned vets who still have the heart to fight for what is right and make us laugh along the way. It reminds me that no matter how much time passes we should always keep our sense of adventure and live our lives aloud!

I’m excited to Mike lowery and of course Martin. I wish this had opened on memorial weekend like the old times when Will would dominate the holiday movie blockbuster scene.
