Let us never forget

It is important that we continue to teach our children about African American History. History provides us the chance to draw experiences from the past into the present. We are making history today, but what kind of history are we making?

It is important that we show our children how black history is connected to their own lives, they will not become fully engage with a superficial study of “heroes and holidays” unless we do.The lessons can be as simple as teaching something each week.

Week one: What is Black History? How and why we celebrate it?
Week two: Famous artists, musicians, poets and any persons of cultural art.
Week three: Famous scientist and inventors
Week four:Civic leaders
